Look, I’m in a video!

I’m the star of this new video that I made with some help from a bunch of my friends at PCCA – everyone seemed surprised at how roomy I really am inside!

I also recently visited Washington, DC, for Compounders on Capitol Hill. I took photos with a lot of PCCA members and staff there. Click below to see the photos we took:

Aseptic Training Compounding Course

We had the Aseptic Training Compounding Course here at PCCA this week. It was a lot of fun meeting so many new people and learning all about how to make sterile compounds using the best techniques outlined by USP Chapter <797>. Everyone seemed to have a good time in the class, and I think I fit right in!

Morty in class

Morty outside with students from Aseptic CourseI’m having a blast at PCCA, but I’m also excited about going to my new home with the PCCA member who will win me at the International Seminar this October. I think I would make a great prescription delivery car!

Bath time!

Bath time!

I’ve been busy greeting all the visitors and employees who walk through PCCA’s front door, and after all that work, I got a little dirty. I always want to look my best, so fortunately, Jeremy Lundevall gave me a nice, sudsy bath. Now I’m clean and shiny again!

I went to the Vet Symposium!

Morty at the Vet SymposiumWe recently had our Veterinary Symposium here at PCCA. A bunch of our members visited us, and we all spent three days learning about how compounding pharmacists can help veterinarians and animal owners care for household pets. We heard about so many cool things that compounders can do for dogs and cats, but when Chris Simmons brought out his pet birds, I just had to take a closer look!

As you can see, I had a lot of fun at the Vet Symposium, and I made it through the whole event without getting any paw prints on my windshield. Hooray! I can’t wait to see what I’ll get to do next…

Hello, I’m Morty the Smart Car!

Morty the Smart Car

I recently came to live at PCCA, but they tell me that I’m going to find my permanent home in October, during PCCA’s 2012 International Seminar.

I can’t wait to find out where I’ll be moving, but in the meantime, I’m on the go! My first stop is here in Austin, Texas, at the PCCA Sales and Marketing Symposium. I’m on display outside so people can check me out, so I’m just enjoying the beautiful spring weather and hoping to meet lots of PCCA members. I wonder if one of them will be my new owner this fall?

Every person who registers for the International Seminar gets one entry for a chance to win me. You must be present at the International Seminar to win! You’ll also win a custom design for my exterior graphics. Maybe the winner will put their logo on me and use me for a delivery vehicle! Wouldn’t it be exciting to have an important job like that? Everybody says I’m fuel-efficient and easy to park, and I really attract attention wherever I go.

You can follow my adventures here all summer long! (In Texas, summer generally lasts from April to October.)

Gotta go – the Sales & Marketing Symposium is starting!

*100% of the proceeds will be donated to a beneficiary to be named later.
